DataReaderExtensionsReadBytes(IDataReader, Byte, Int32, Int32) Method

Reads a number of bytes from the current position in the buffer. The current position is advanced by the number of bytes read.

Parameters

reader  IDataReader
The data reader.
toBuffer  Byte
The buffer to fill.
toBufferOffset  Int32
The start position within toBuffer to start writing.
length  Int32
The number of bytes to read.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type IDataReader. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
