PacketWriterExtensionsInsert Method

Returns a new buffer writer pointing to the current position in this packet. Anything written into the new packet will be inserted into the data buffer when this packet is resolved.

Parameters

writer  IPacketWriter
The packet writer.
length  Int32
The number of bytes to insert.

Return Value

IBufferWriter
A new packet writer for writing the inserted data into.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type IPacketWriter. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
