| Linear | 0 | The penalty multiple will be ramped up by linearly interpolating between the starting and ending penalty multiples. |
| Quadratic | 1 | The penalty multiple will be ramped up by quadratically interpolating between the starting and ending penalty multiples. |
| Cubic | 2 | The penalty multiple will be ramped up by cubically interpolating between the starting and ending penalty multiples. |
